Candidates are introduced into critical thinking during the period of philosophical courses. During this time we should impart to our students an adequate knowledge of the condition of society and of the times as well as the needs of the church. It would be convenient for them to get enrolled into civil universities during this time to acquire bachelor degrees in specific subjects. This intends to enable them to make sound judgements in the light of faith on world conditions and more effectively help people of their own times.

In our province we send our students for this period of time to various institutes run by other provinces of the Order.
